The Fundraising Process is Easy with Two Options

Option 1:   Fundraising as a Creative Painting Experience

In cooperation with teachers I will run a 1 hour creative painting session for students.  My aim is to take students through a series of creative exercises that endeavours to find the core of a child’s imagination.  This is achieved through movement stories, storytelling and brainstorming.  Penny is a registered teacher in Tasmania and has her own public liability insurances.

Each lesson has been designed to cater for childrens ages and abilities.  The first part of the session is a whole group activity. When we begin to paint I prefer to rotate smaller groups to provide a personalised approach.

I will come prepared with my own Little Artist painting kit and which houses all the relevant materials.  This includes the blank canvases, a palette of high quality fabric paints, paint brushes and order forms for parents.

It is not always possible for all the children in a class to take part in a fundraising exercise. I will allow for this. The first part of the session is a whole class activity. These are the creative exercises and their purpose is to bring out or stimulate the child's creative senses. As a registered teacher I have had many years experience with behaviour managment. However, I rarely encounter any sort of behaviour management issues during these sessions as children are delighted to have the opportunity to become inwardly creative and are so captivated by their own movement stories that there is no space for  negative energy.   This first part of the session takes about 45min. Those children who have chosen to do a painting and purchase a little artist product are then taken through a painting session.

Once all paintings have been completed, I will then take these away and prepare them for the child's chosen garment.  I will then return their Little Artist order to the school together with a cheque for the fundraising amount. This process takes four weeks.

Option 2:   Attending your School Fair

Little Artist can provide a unique and entertaining stall at your school fair. Our quality products will attract patrons and offer an upmarket feel.

When we visit your school fair we will have everything we need to allow children to paint beautiful masterpieces for their chosen garment. As part of the package we will also offer a craft activity that uses natural products and costs a nominal fee. For example painting terracotta pots, or making dolly pegs.  We prefer an undercover site with access to water but can operate from our own tent.  We set up the painting area and provide all of the materials.

We take the paintings away to place them on the customer’s chosen product.  This process takes about two weeks.  We then deliver the finished products to your school for distribution.
